In the year 2030, religion was banned, and Christians were executed. In 2035, our homes were raided, and any child under the age of six was taken, and any child the age of six through 15 was executed. The smallest children were taken to Castle Marks, and that is where they remained while the employees of the Antichrist experimented on them until they were perfected. They were then released back into civilization, where they would terrorize the world. These freaks were called Spooks.

Cutting herself helped her to feel better inside. It took that anxiety away that made her want to kill herself. Sure, her arms looked like "backroad" maps, but as long as she covered them no one would ever know. Did they hurt? Oh yes, every day.

Losing a parent is painful. Watching them go through a heart-wrenching disease and then watching as they take their last breath is forever life-altering. Lou Gehrig's disease and rare genetic small cell cancer are vicious and deadly diseases. There are many other diseases like this or as vicious. This story tells of my experience with losing both of my parents to these two particular diseases and my mind's state after watching both of my parents take their last breaths.
