Bill and Karen Stevens were so excited to get to spend a weekend away from their children. Bill was the top salesman of his company that year and was awarded a weekend trip to any four-star hotel of his choice, compliments of the company he works for. Bill and Karen packed their belongings and said goodbye to their children and headed to the airport, to their destination. The plane finally landed and they were ready for a fun-filled weekend without their kids. Bill and Karen held hands as they approached the front desk of the beautiful four-star hotel....

Meg was happy to finally have the chance her other sisters didn't: She was going to college. Meg's sisters helped her move into her new dorm. Her sisters were introduced to her roommate, Samantha. Meg and Samantha got along really well and helped each other in their studies. Samantha needed the most help with her homework because she liked to party, while Meg always had her head in the textbooks. Midterms were just around the corner, but a big party was being held at a good friend of Samantha's house and - of course - Samantha wasn't going to miss the party over a midterm exam.

Summer finally arrived and Jim Edwards and his friends Dan, Bob and Steve, all decided they would take a ride cross country on a 19th century train that was refurbished to attract tourists and show what it was like to travel on a train from that era. Dr. Worthington purchased Bentley Mansion with stolen money he got from the banks he robbed in another state. The mansion was fully furnished with medieval torture devices kept down in the basement of the mansion. He had a plan to pose as a doctor and lure doctors from the local hospital and have parties at his mansion to show off his collection of medieval torture devices to his guests. Sometimes he would put his guests in the devices and take their pictures to put in his photo album.

Sam Edwards was a wealthy, lonely man who lived all alone in his mansion. Sam was in his late 40s and tired of not having a companion to share his wealth with. He decided he'd check out the bar scene and see if he could find a lady with the same interests as his. Sam hopped in his Rolls Royce not caring that it was a stormy night. Sam pulled into Mack's Tavern, ready to find his dream lady. He grabbed his umbrella popped it open as he stepped out of his car and walked up to the door, where he shook the rain off of his umbrella underneath the canopy.

Brian, Susan, and Tim liked to get together on Friday the 13th and play the Dare game in a cemetery that dated back to the 19th century in the woods behind Tim's house. But, when they got together on this coming Friday the 13th, their game was about to take a fatal turn for them all.

Bobby and Susan's parents were going out to a fancy restaurant for their 25th wedding anniversary and probably wouldn't be back until midnight. Just before they left the house they told Bobby and Susan, "Under no circumstances are you to answer the door for anyone. Is that understood?" Bobby replied, "Sure thing, Mom." Their parents closed the door and headed to their dinner date. Bobby said to Susan, "Mom sure does worry about our safety a lot, and besides were not dead yet."

She would come in his room and yank the comic book out of his hands and throw it across the room. The more his sister tormented him, the more anger for his sister was mounting.
