Jacob Grimm (Hanau, actual Alemania, 1785-Berlín, 1863) y Wilhelm Grimm (Hanau, 1786-Berlín, 1859). Cuentistas y filólogos alemanes. Conocidos sobre todo por sus colecciones de canciones y cuentos populares, así como por los trabajos de Jacob en la historia de la lingüística y de la filología alemanas, eran los dos hermanos mayores de un total de seis, hijos de un abogado y pastor de la Iglesia Calvinista.

Jakob Grimm (1785 - 1863) y su hermano, Wilhelm (1786 - 1859), nacieron en Hanau, Hesse (Alemania).
