I sliced my dagger over the tip, sending a tendril of wood falling to the ground. “We’re just being influenced by the demon.”

The worst has happened. Kaito says this can be fixed. But I don't know if I have any fight left in me anymore. For their sake, I better get my shit together. We've come this far, and my Virtues and I have been through life and death together. Nothing has changed. Nothing except Lucifer coming down on me with his fallen angel army. My Virtues who are still on earth are forced to bend to his control. And now the next Echo of Calamity is on its way, overlapping with a mission that I've yet to fulfill.

I've taken everything from the wolves. Their magic. Their pride. Their alphas. But now I wish I could give it all back. Fulfilling my role as the Moon Guardian has brought a new force to this world, one that might even be worse than the wolves.

That's what Azra and Sam tell me and I don't think I'm ever going to get used to this. All of my Virtues have been reluctant and taken time to come around to their destiny. Not my angel twins. They're the only force keeping me from falling into a pit of depression after the majority of my Virtues were infected by Calamity. I can't see them. I can't feel them. Only Kaito remains and he's thrown himself into his research to undo this mess. It's my job to unlock the angelic powers inside of me before Lucifer comes back to claim my crown, one lesson at a time.

My fourth is a freaking vampire? Xavier is cocky, overzealous, and way too hot for his own good. He’s just what I need to stop my nightmares from coming to fruition, except he's telling me that I'm not supposed to stop the future from happening. I'm supposed to fulfill a dark prophecy. One where I'm the Queen of Hell, turned into a vampire, and I save hell itself from being destroyed.

I've found my third, and he's definitely the sin of anger. Jet has some damn rage problems, but I guess that's to be expected from a dragon shifter. Am I ready to play with fire? You bet your ass I am. Derek, one of my sins, is making good work on stirring the pot. He's trying to rip open a hole to hell and he's gotten Luke on a leash to do just that. Don't worry, I have a plan. I just hope it doesn't get everybody killed.

I’m a reincarnated fate witch and rightful queen of the Royal Covens. None of that is why I’m going to get out of this, though. I’m a mortal-born witch in this lifetime, which means I’m scrappy as hell. I’ll use my strengths against their pride and get the Royal Covens to turn on each other.
