Now, I’m on the run, with my two male best friends trying to find me, a sexy dragon trying to protect me, and an evil dragon on my tail.

I can't escape death. It comes for me, one way or another. But when I'm accused of a crime I didn't commit, and thrown away with the worst of supernatural society, I'll have to fight with every ounce of my strength to survive. Only, it isn't that easy. My ex-boyfriend and his two best friends have a plan to escape. One they're willing to include me in. They say something is hunting the criminals in this place, and that our only chance at survival is to get free.

In my new life, no one knows my darkest secret. No one knows what I became after death. I doubt the charming male nurse would give me a second look if he knew the truth. I doubt my dominating boss, who I made the mistake of sleeping with, would be quite so possessive of me. And I know the sexy doctor wouldn’t spend all his time flirting with me if he knew.

My mother sold me to the shifters, all in the name of peace. For more than a century, the witches and shifters have been at war. So when my mother came home with the news that peace had been struck between us, I should've known better. Warning bells should have been ringing in my head, but they weren't. It wasn't until the shifters came for me that I knew better.

Unfortunately for him, I have three handsome mates who aren’t about to give me up. My dragon shifter will burn the world down before he lets someone else have me. My mutant, with a heart of gold, will fight with his last breath to protect me. And my berserker will face his darkest demons to keep me by his side.

My mates have all the wooing power of a badger with diarrhea, so it's no surprise when I'm not exactly eager to bend over and become their bride. Not that their ridiculously bad moves are entirely to blame. I'm quaking in my cheap boots at just the thought of having four husbands. One is bad enough, am I right? Except when I decide to run for it to get a little space, I'm kidnapped and taken on the adventure of a lifetime. Now, I'm not even sure if the men I rejected over and over are coming to get me, or if I'm doomed.

Apparently, the best time to ask someone a life-or-death question is when they're fresh from being kidnapped and tired as hell. Who knew? Now, my princes are gone to a terrible place, and it's up to me to bring them back. To do so, not only do I need to learn to survive in a new world of darkness and lies, but I need to decide how I feel and what I want for my life. Rescuing the princes is only the first step. Agreeing to turn this fake marriage into a real one is the next—if I can handle it. And then? Well, I need to figure out if I can be the wife to four men tricked by a potion.

Being the daughter of a wraith means that death is in my veins. It also means that just because I happen to be found around a lot of dead bodies doesn't mean I'm a serial killer. But try to get the jackass Supernatural Enforcers to believe that. The thing is, I can't tell them what I am, because according to the paranormal world, I'm an "abomination" that would need to be killed. So, I have no good excuse for all the crime scene appearances.

Growing up as the daughter of the beast himself, I saw the wicked truth after happily-ever-after ended. And I vowed to use the only skill I had, my ability to kill, to gain my freedom. But I failed.

I am bound to the dark...and the dark is bound to me. No one can know what I am. But this secret I carry, it isn't an easy one to hide. It burns within me. It changes me each and every day, making the line between me and the ghosts I love smaller and smaller. Yet, no secret can remain hidden forever.

Everyone hates a harpy.... For the record, I don't drag people to Hades. I'm not a guardian of the Underworld. And I'm not an evil monster. I'm just... a shifter who happens to control birds. Dangerous? Yes. A monster? No. Unfortunately, most people disagree with me. For some stupid reason.

My life is a giant crap pile with a cherry thrown on top. I'm an immortal woman cursed to kill people with just a glance. And now I've been kidnapped by three mouthwateringly sexy gargoyles, who I'm pretty sure want me dead. But it gets better...While I'm trying to make the best of being a prisoner, guarded by yummy eye-candy, I'm also being dragged on a dangerous mission...I think I'm not just risking my life this time, I'm risking my heart. And that's one thing that even monsters fear.

So, life sucks just about as much as it possibly can. And when I see gargoyles heading straight for me, all I'm left wondering is who will kill me first - the winged monster-hunters, or the angry sea dragons? What I don't expect? The gargoyles don't know who or what I am. So maybe, just maybe, if I can hide my identity long enough, I'll survive. But it might take a little distraction to accomplish. The thing is, I don't think I mind distracting four hard-as-stone gargoyles who can't stop staring.

We almost died escaping from Nightmare Penitentiary, but somehow, we managed to survive and to even get free. And then? Then, we’re thrown right back into peril again. And as much as I just want to say screw it and give up, I have to pull my “big girl panties” on and keep going. Because the alternative is a very grisly death.

Thousands of years ago, I made a mistake. A terrible mistake that cost me everything. My dearest husband. My beloved children. Even my humanity. My curse makes me dangerous to all those around me, so I've secluded myself where I can never hurt another person again. But the Fates have other plans for me that don't include hiding for eternity.
