When social worker Lisa Keefauver became a widow in 2011, she was alarmed to discover that even though 100 percent of us experience loss, we’re living in a grief illiterate world. This book was what I needed to help me with the grieving process. I appreciate the fact that it's focused in soulmate. The loss of a soulmate is a different type of heartbreak.

So helpful - the steps really are the journey
I hesitated to start this book because I was afraid of any additional pain it could’ve triggered while newly in the grief of losing my soulmate. I regret not starting it sooner. It gentle and entirely accurate. I read it at around 11 months and plan to read it again and actually use the prompts and do the “homework” after I get through the 12 month mark. It was so helpful to hear words outside of my own describing exactly how I was feeling. It’s removed the weight of feeling like I need to justify the weight of pain I’m going through. And I hope it brings you comfort because if you’re considering this book I certainly know you need any you can get. Sending peace.
