Captivating, entertaining.

Until the last chapter I wasn’t sure how I could relate to this story having lost my mother young. But the end is one that will stay with me for a long time.

Mother/daughter relationships can be difficult but there is always love.

Loved this book so much! Wish I’d read it sooner! A mother and daughter relationship is like no other. I laughed, cried and shook my head in agreement because it felt so familiar. It touched my heart! Please write more!

Detailed descriptions of food and objects

I enjoyed reading both emotional and realistic approaches in the book. The surprising end was not expected. It made me cry at the end.

It was all a fantasy vacation.

I did not like that the whole story turned out to be a fantasy. So who knows if the ending was true?

Pulls on the Heart

It's been a while since something made my jaws drop. A few chapters in I was hoping this wouldn't be a lonnng read that I would end up not enjoying. Then, I was fully drawn into the story & characters which are precisely described. Highs & lows & a speechless, yet bold, tug to not have any regrets. Do & Say & Go & Love NOW. I don't want to give away too much. I really enjoyed this book & the story & message I'm sure will cross my mind for years to come.

A mother daughter story left unsaid

A journey. Of all things we speak in our heads. A true look at seeing your mom for who she is and letting your daughter be an adult. It’s finding peace in madness, and sadness. I loved the authentic notes of conversations, some we can have others we cannot.
