Must Listen!
I recommend this book to anyone who is ready for stepping up their life game. Several moments of “ah-ha”, identifying, and seeing the reasons others operate the way they do was eye-opening and instrumental in my healing from my relationship trauma. I’ll listen to it again, and again, and have already gifted this title to friends and acquaintances.

A must listen …
My wish would be for every woman to read or listen to this book, whether they feel they have scars from trauma or not. I heard the author discussing the book on Moody radio and in just a few minutes, I was so intrigued that I instantly went and downloaded it. I was raised to “ just get over it” when bad things happened / happen, and that I was being dramatic to discuss my feelings and needs. I have learned through this book that the “broken” bits that I don’t like about myself, (but can’t seem to mend) are actually the product of things that I have been told my whole life to “just get over”. I see so many negative and harmful experiences from childhood that have made me cope in unhealthy ways as an adult in my relationships with others, church, and even God. I am excited to re - listen and to continue to learn.

Must read book for all
Love the voice of Dr Alison. Its like a personal sister sharing her personal stories and how we can apply it in our lives. This book has been very helpful in my journey of healing inner child. It gives words for me when i am seeing my therapist and increases deeper understanding of myself too. Would relisten again.
