About this listen

All five audiobooks in the best-selling Limitless Lands series are now together in one collection!

Colonel James Raytak is about to die.

The 93-year-old combat veteran is living his last days in a nursing home, and his only hope for survival is found inside the virtual world of Limitless Lands.

With every swing of his sword and every command given to his army, Raytak is one step closer to returning to the people he loves. Many foes will stand in his path, and despite a lifetime of military experience and powerful allies, victory is not assured.

Very well thought out storyline, and very organized. I also appreciate the length of the series. It was not rushed and ended well. The world building was great as well as character builds. I highly recommend this series.

Outstanding!!!!

just finished book 5 and I kind of just hung on because I was hoping that reytak would have an accident and die before he healed and that was how the books ended but alas it wasn't to be

reytak is a eunuch Commander at best but he was given an army. and because of this his his casualty rates are sky freaking high because he refuses to do his job and just throws himself in the combat.

still it's a pretty fun story like the diversity of characters and powers and whatnot. found it odd that players at level 15 were so freaking powerful like raytak has over a thousand soldiers the necromancer has four giant corpses that he's allowed to carry around and then they say that you're not even allowed to get a horse until level 40 how big are these guys armies going to be when they get there?

but all in all a good listen good job!!

Reytak is still an awful commander!

Captivating and engaging story throughout. Interesting story concept and bittersweet ending. One of the best series I’ve listened to over thousands of audible listening hours

Enough to make a grown man cry

Listened to all 5 books in a matter of a couple of weeks. I didn’t think I would like the narrator when I first started the series, but he is fantastic and will look for both the author and narrator.

5 Stars for all 5 books. I have never listened to any books so many days in a row.

Interesting take on the genre. Action sequences are primary taken from a top down view, which is new for me - almost a blend of RTS.
Was expecting a grander scheme behind the RL storyline but received a reminder of mortality and time. I want to give 5 stars for the artistry and ideas, however for whatever reason I didn’t get the absolute draw back into the book between listenings. Still worth a listen.

Interesting Take, Pretty Well Executed

Just wow. So many books for only one credit?! Is there a mistake or something? Over 60hrs long and so freaking good. I downloaded this for my eye surgery recovery and I am enraptured.

The characters are engaging and the story is so full of joy and heartbreak. I felt the betrayal and the pain of the Colonel and shared in his triumphs. The villains are fleshed out and not one dimensional. The plot grows more complicated and feels so real.

I absolutely love the narration. The voices are entertaining and so consistent that you can identify a character easily from book 1 that hasn’t been around again til book 4.

Definitely purchasing as a gift for friends. 100% recommend. 10 out of 5 stars!

An Absolute MUST HAVE

Limitless Lands was my entry ticket into the world of LitRPG and boy, it does not disappoint. The MC as well as his peers are all well rounded and well defined characters with distinct personalities, and the story pacing is great. This is one of the best way you could spend a single credit today on Audbile if you are into LitRPG and want to try the genre out.

Narration is also spot on, especially since the re-release of first 2 books that had few kinks, but worry not - Jack nails it on all levels, giving characters memorable voices to help flesh out their personalities. Highly recommend this book as well as other books narrated by Jack Voraces!

A fantastic LitRPG series!

Solid story, good characters.
Heavily wortheavily war filmed in a good way. Has a lot of basebuilding world conquest. A very interesting fights and scenarios. Entertaining and engaging. I have no complaints. I think it's a good story overall..

Good book

This is the first LitRPG I have ever read/listened to. At first I was not sure how to feel about it. The beginning struggled to keep my attention, but that soon changed as the story became more and more detailed. Almost all of the characters grew to be important to me and I actually cared about what was happening to them ( even Chruchy lol ). The series came to a great end with just enough of an open spot for spin off series if the author so wished. I would recommend this series to anyone looking for a new twist in action adventure books.

Overall a great story!

I really liked the premise of an AI healing someone while in a video game, but I was a worried on how it would be executed. I'm happy to say that it was done really well and turned out to be an emotional books as your learned about the characters and go through their stories. The narrator did a fantastic job which brought the book to life.

I received a promotional copy in exchange for a honest review.

interesting premise done really well
