The book was well-researched and provided a great amount of information. The author is clearly very knowledgeable about this topic. As a health coach, I've helped clients with better sleep for many years. This audiobook now arms me with new and innovative ideas and tools to better aid clients I support.
Also, my husband and I travel full-time. We've done this for many years. Thus, we find ourselves in different sleeping environments often. We recently had a horrid sleep experience and felt a bit hopeless about the situation. Our lack of sleep REALLY impacted us. Thanks to the info in this book, we have some new tools in our "good sleep toolbox".

Before listening to this audiobook, I had no idea that there were so many different possible causes of insomnia and that there are specific treatments for each. The author does an amazing job at explaining these different possible causes and the treatments that could help. I was especially surprised to learn that kids could be inflicted with insomnia, and that this could increase their likelihood of having insomnia later in life.
The self-assessment activities included in the audiobook made things so much easier for me to understand exactly what I needed to do for my own insomnia. I found the self-belief assessment to be particularly helpful.
I am really looking forward to trying out many of the CBTI treatments, starting out with sleep restriction. The author provides great examples for each CBTI technique, making it easy to follow along and understand.
The narrator's voice was soothing and perfectly matched the ambiance of the audiobook.
Overall, I highly recommend this audiobook to anyone who struggles with insomnia. It was informative, engaging, and most importantly, helpful.
