What a great audible on how to talk to anyone
Having suffered with social anxiety my whole life, this audible was great at building my confidence to start doing more socially and being less frightened of everything. The steps are easy to follow and build the confidence to go out and socialise without a million voices in my head telling me all the terrible stuff. A must listen for anyone who suffers with social anxiety like me and needs a clear and concise way to build communication skills.

Great book
A useful and engaging book to help you speak to anyone. I think since covid many of us suffer from social anxiety more.
I find it particularly hard in a formal or work situation. This book does a great job of combining theory with real life practical examples that you can relate to.
The book is easy to follow and broken down onto 8 manageable strategies. Highly recommend

I've never been one for small talk and have struggled with communication skills. I found many helpful strategies and methods for improving my skills in this gem. The author covers such topics as intention and impact, 5 steps to improve listening skills, communication barriers, confidence, and the natural flow of conversation. This insightful book also includes entertaining anecdotes as examples. I learned a lot, especially to go into a conversation with a game plan. I highly recommend this noteworthy publication.

Help Me; I Don’t Speak Math
After listening to this audiobook, I began to use some of the strategies and content of this valuable audiobook in my high school math and computer science classroom. Sharing thoughts and practical communication skills are among the best routines for learning math. The key to getting them talking is to get students talking about math. Even more critical is connecting math to something tangible in their life. The key to working with groups is to build value. Students need help today in participating in a conversation about the math content.
Students in a math class often have a “Help Me, I’m Stuck - Mindset.”
Students can learn to overcome their fear of social interaction and transform awkward silences into lively discussions by using the "Help Me Talk to Anyone" program.
This shift is the key to mathematical discourse, allowing students to be more involved in their learning. The students can then make conjectures and connect their prior knowledge with current understanding. They can also reason mathematically and refine problem-solving techniques.
It is impossible to have a classroom rich in discourse unless we develop and nurture the relational capacity between teacher and student and cultivate a sense of safety and trust. Teachers can create an ideal learning environment by creating a culture of celebrating mistakes and taking academic risks. Students can learn in classrooms that are safe but also brave. They will be encouraged to ask questions, to be curious, and to take risks.
