About this listen
Working from home and managing remote workers presents significant issues we do not want to talk about or admit. The challenges for the work-from-home employee include dealing with distractions and lower productivity. And other times, overworking because you never leave the "office". You can experience feeling isolated and disconnected from what is happening at work and always being the last to know. Finding work-life balance seems out of your reach. Having been in your position for over 15 years, I share my mistakes and my tried and true process that eliminates feeling overwhelmed and creates time freedom.
As a manager of remote workers, you can experience frustration and concern. Communication is hard enough when you are all in the same room. Now that you have remote workers, it is even more challenging. You wonder what your staff is doing all day long! How can they possibly be late for a conference call? What can you do to foster your company’s culture? How can you keep your team focused on your goals? And make sure your customers are taken care of.
I now have a corporate office. I manage staff that are in the next office, some just a few miles away from the office, while others are in other countries. I understand how easy it is to lose control and feel frustrated. Over time, I found a roadmap to eliminate concern and improve communication and productivity.
In this audiobook, I share how I successfully ran a home office, how I found work-life balance, and how I helped my work-from-home employees become extremely productive.

Time management is perhaps something every person should learn about in greatest detail. This is because time is the only commodity in your life that you cannot regain once it is lost. Time is what makes your life, and if and when you realize that with every minute that passes you are closer to your death, you will never, ever want to see a moment lost. Every human being has a dream. This is the life goal that he chases throughout his life. Some people achieve their life’s goal and some don’t. Which group of people do you want to belong to?

VERY HELPFUL TO APPROACH REMOTE WORKING TRANSITION
This is an excellent book that will aid readers in navigating the challenging shift from traditional office employment to remote work. It provided me with a clear route on how to work with my staff to increase productivity. It was direct and pinpointed the main issue that arises when your staff works remotely. The author discussed a number of issues that could have a negative impact on work-life balance. Knowing what potential blunders might be getting in the way of my success, I have no doubt that this book will help me be more motivated and productive at my remote job. I'm incredibly appreciative of the knowledge I've learned from this book. The narrator did an amazing job too.
