About this listen

Once the strongest on Earth, he will now climb to become the strongest in the Universe.

Noah was once a Mecha pilot leading the defense of Earth against the invading Parasites.

Now he is just one lone man stranded on a strange planet, with nothing to do but endlessly fight and devour beasts to increase his strength in the hope of leaving that forsaken place.

A new opportunity arose the day a spaceship crashed on the planet.

Follow Noah as he escapes, enters the wider universe, and discovers the truth about what happened to Earth.

Kill. Eat. Grow.

Such is his motto and his ascension will be legendary.

Awesome

This was really good and I really liked Noah as the mc. like he is strong physically and pretty much stomps all his opponents until he faces someone that truly uses the power system of this universe mecha and magic combined and now I can't wait to see how much he will grow in power now that he has an understanding of the power levels of the universe

This is a must listen if you like

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I started this book. I took a gamble and it paid off in spades. If you’re into Mech adventures then look no further. This is a great installment and I can’t wait to see the progression of the MC..

Great Book!

Seriously, give it a chance. OK lots of woo woo physics but tech and 'magic' is one of my favorite genres. No harem. MC isn't dumb as a rock. Some mild murder hobo but... against SPACE PIRATES IN MECHS! Narration is superb as well.

This reads like the prequel of a spinoff series

People and organizations are referenced as of there was pre-existing knowledge. listening to this as a first book made me feel like there was a lot of missing information that led me to resent the book and want to return it for my credit. It would have been a lot better if I wasn't left guessing for 90% of the book

Not recommended.

A good book shows not tells. When someone is scared, show they are scared. If someone is ruthless, show them being ruthless.

This book does not do that. Every time anyone does anything, the author explains their inner thoughts multiple times before and after a character takes any actions.

For example, pirate goons show up, then the author spends a bunch of time explaining why pirates are pirates. Pirate goon 1 says something, the author explains why pirate goons act like pirate goons. Pirate goon 2 takes an action completely in line with what was just said, then the author explains how and why pirate goons react to the action of pirate goon 2. Pirate goon 1 reacts to the action of pirate goon 2 while the author sprinkles in light variations of previous explanations.

Now repeat that formula. For. The. Entire. Book.

Main character is about to do a thing? Explain why they would take an action for a minute then the character does what was just explained.

Main character said a thing? Explain why he would say a thing 3 different ways before AND after he says it.

Side character feels fear? Spend a few minutes talking about the side characters every inner thought they had that led up to them feeling fear.

You can listen to this book and press skip every thirty seconds and not miss any actual content.

Voice actor was pretty good with what he had to work with.

Too much exposition

Story never consistently gets going the author constantly pulls the reader out of the story with useless commentary by explaining every little nuance of the story as if he is writing a book for dummies...I've had enough this title will be returned.
