This book is nothing short of AMAZING! Words alone can’t express how grateful I am to have found this book and the timing has been spot on! Initially, I began reading (listening) to the audible version. However, the introduction alone was so detailed, informative, relatable, well and “all in my business”, I found myself constantly pausing to take notes. Before I finished listening to the intro, I knew I needed the hard copy of “Anxiously Attached” to highlight and mark it up.
Honestly, I have never fully understood attachment styles with such clarity until now, through reading “Anxiously Attached”.
This isn’t a typical “story book” you will just wiz through. Jessica Baum does an amazing job at not only explaining the content, but she also provides great examples and walks the readers through their own healing journey with additional resources and support.
It is evident the author wrote this book from her own personal experience and place of healing. Although, she is a licensed mental health professional, this isn’t written from a place of being the smartest person in the room and having a point to prove, sort of speak. However, from a place of passion and desire to see others healed, whole, and “self full” in their own lives and relationships.
Whether you are single, married, dating, divorced, whatever your status is- THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU! I highly recommend “Anxiously Attached”.

This book really helped address core issues and provided help.
Pros: It felt good to have what I was going through experienced by others. Struggling to connect is what a pause in your anxiety will allow you to see.
Knowing we I am not alone and although triggering and daunting the task maybe to become whole again. That’s better than surrendering to this doubt.
It’s a book to bookmark so you can know exactly where some of the exercises are.
It’s not the only method to help but for me it hit a lot of my personal struggles right on the head.
Con: it is very triggering for someone who’s been with an abusive partner, in any form of abuse.
Sometimes you’re not ready to hear you’re your worst enemy.
Therapy is highly encouraged this is not an end all, be all.
These methods may not be or feel natural at first. It takes a few tries to “feel”

A most read and listen to type of book
I have come a long way on my inner work, but this book and the free program Dr. Baum offers the necessary tools to work on the root of anxiety attachment. it may no work for everyone but it certainly helps most people.

This book really helps!
I am recovering from a breakup of an anxious/avoidant relationship. This book has the ability to promote self-awareness, which is empowering. This book really helped me reflect on my past and how it impacted me and caused me to develop tendencies or thought patterns that in this moment don't serve me well. This book is helping me to develop strategies from within myself to heal and become stronger.

Anxiously Attached? Look no further!
If you’re looking for a book on anxiously attachment… This is the book for you! You will have a ton of aha moments. She gives great clarity to the anxious attachment style and touches on avoidant as well… Which is great considering most anxiously attached people attract people with avoidant attachment style. Definitely going to be listening to this one again… Too much great information to absorb in one read.

Incredible book!
This book was very eye-opening. I learned so much about myself, and my partner very useful exercises to help heal the thoughts feeling and emotions associated with being anxiously attached. Jessica read this book with a heartfelt voice to really make you feel supported while learning the material.
