This week, we're building out a dry-tent and chopping down the Tropaya tomatoes! This is where months of effort, stress, and pride can go straight down the drain. Drying and curing is (possibly) the most important time when it comes to producing a tomato that burns with a white ash, oil ring, and full flavor to the glass tip. The smell from the plant is very nice and has a sour candy element to it! I'm excited to get these over the LPI screens and static tech the tomato resin!

During the Hash Bash weekend in Ann Arbor, I had the opportunity to capture a conversation with photographer & activist Leni Sinclair. We discussed how Hash Bash came to be & how cannabis is still used as a political tool! This conversation is one that holds a lot of value, and is worth multiple listens! A couple of weeks ago, I went to Shoreline Smokeout and I had the opportunity to moderate an educational panel on cultivation techniques and theory for Michigan's various environmental regions. This panel was comprised of six cultivators:

Country Roots, Nick Risden/Lyme Rising Farms, Rising Moon Medicinals, Ray Kudronic, Thee Mustache, and Ohana Farms MI.

We captured perspectives on genetic selections, soil preparation mindsets + methods, planting strategies, pest management, and more! There are a lot of fantastic perspectives and bits of knowledge presented in this episode, and I consider my own base of growing knowledge to be expanded after the experience.

Thank you to the Shoreline Smokeout team for the opportunity to expand my mind and my skill sets! This was the first time I've ever led a speaking panel and I was nervous, I think it came out good though!

This week we're back at the orignal Terp Table to discuss the new federally compliant hemp rosin drop from Cammy Cat Gardens x Spun Love Hash! They have seven flavors that they dropped on the Roots And Releaf website! The Lilac Diesel is a unique one that stood out to me, since I appreciate good examples of Jack terps! The other jars are great too and are all grown under the Sun in Kentucky soil! The terroir of the central part of the state was captured in each of these miron jars! Also, these jars might be the first example of hemp rosin that is put into the full miron + side/top/bottom lables! This week we're back in the Tomato Tent to talk a bit about the watering process, the installation of the new carbon filter for the tent (the tropaya tomatoes are getting resinous as fuck, definitely needed one!) I also chop down the buckwheat and millet to do the final chop and drop on the last 30gal pot for this round! I also harvested a few buckwheat seeds, not enough to mill and make flour, but enough to plant again and grow more!

This week we're at the original Terp Table & Tomato Tent to discuss the new Who's Who x Humble Hills collaboration series jars! They released a limited lineup of indoor living soil flavors consisting of: Afghani Cakes, Detroit Muscle, and Hash Burger! The Detroit Muscle is my personal favorite; it's almost too hard to decide though! I also talk a little bit about providing food for the worms in the form of over ripe avocados and supercropping! This is a height control technique that you can employ in veg and early flower! It's important to not break the skin on the stems however!

This week we're both at the Terp Table and the Terp Tent for the 2nd round of defoliation work! For small indoor gardens, this process is advantageous to the health of your environment. It allows for better airflow and photon exposure to the lower bud sites! It also causes a bit of healthy stress for the plant, which isn't bad if you know how to manage it! I usually water after the defoliation too, to help the transfer of healing throughout the plant! They're roughly 70 days from the big chop!
