Currently, he is exhibiting his work in the “Missouri Masters” exhibit at the Gallery at the Library in Hermann, which runs until May 23.   • Dance Halls in Franklin and Gasconade Counties and Fashion from 1890 to 1930

    Dr. Kenneth Johnson, a career educator and retired professor in the School of Education at Lindenwood University, will be discussing the history of dance halls in Gasconade and Franklin Counties. He is the author of the 2015 book, “Moonlight Serenade to City Lights,” which is a pictorial history about the bands and musicians who played in dance halls around Missouri.
