    Dr. Kenneth Johnson, a career educator and retired professor in the School of Education at Lindenwood University, will be discussing the history of dance halls in Gasconade and Franklin Counties. He is the author of the 2015 book, “Moonlight Serenade to City Lights,” which is a pictorial history about the bands and musicians who played in dance halls around Missouri. He will present “Moonlight Serenade: Dance Hall Musicians in Missouri” on Thursday, April 3, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at the New Haven branch, and Thursday, April 10, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at the Wright City branch.
