  • The Red Sox took the series opener from the Seattle Mariners with an 8-3 win at Fenway Park on Monday night. Alex Bregman had a pair of Doubles and 3 RBIs and Tristan Casas provided some breathing room with a 3-run Home Run in the Red Sox 4-run 7th Inning. The Red Sox have won 6 of 7 and 7 of their last 9. -----Bello's Return: Brayan Bello made his season debut in the series opener against the Mariners Monday night. Bello gave up a Home Run to Jorge Polanco in the 1st Inning. After the homer, Bello gave up a walk and hit 2 straight hitters to load up the bases with 1 out. Bello got out of the jam by getting Rowdy Tellez to hit into an inning-ending 3-6-1 double play. He did not allow another run during the rest of his outing and finished up by striking out Randy Arozarena for the final out in the 5th Inning, stranding 2 runners.
