  • Ep. 112 - Sinner FLOPS and Alcaraz Triumphs / Analyzing 2025 So Far
    Jun 24 2025

This week Erik and Aidan kick off the episode by discussing the pair of ATP 500 tournaments that happened this past week in Halle and London at Queen's Club. In Halle, the story of the week was Sinner getting upset by Alexander Bublik in the second round. Immediately, this loss has driven speculation about both Sinner's level on grass and his mental state after his loss at Roland Garros. On the other side, Alcaraz won the title at Queen's club for a second time, giving him even more momentum going into Wimbledon in a couple of weeks. The pair then discuss some of their 2025 predictions that they made at the end of last year, and look back at how accurate their commentary from that time has been through six months. • Ep. 109 - Alcaraz-Sinner Collision Course / Former Finalists Crash Out / RG Week 1 Recap
    Jun 3 2025

This week Erik and Aidan discus the first week of the 2025 Roland Garros tournament. First up, the tournament included some surprising upsets in the early rounds, with top players and two former finalists at the French Open being eliminated before round 3. This shows that the tour is truly changing and despite their young age these players may never again get a chance to win a Slam. Meanwhile, the Americans made a surprisingly good showing, with two through to the quarterfinals and many more making it through at least the first couple of rounds. A positive sign given the history of poor performance on clay. Finally, Djokovic, Alcaraz and Sinner have cruised so far, meaning the final few rounds could have exciting matchups sure to draw eyes to the sport.
