This week Erik and Aidan jump into the first week of Wimbledon, discussing the crazy first few rounds which featured the fall of many high seeded players. This included some of the tournament favorites, like Zverev, Medvedev, Musetti, and Draper. Meanwhile, the top two seeds of Alcaraz and Sinner were able to survive and move on, despite a five set scare for Alcaraz in the opening round and Sinner falling two sets behind against Dimitrov. Now going into week two the guys preview the final few rounds and give some predictions about what they expect to happen later on in the tournament. With the release of the Wimbledon Draw, Erik and Aidan hop on the pod for a quick discussion covering what they are seeing from the matchups and what excites them looking forward into the tournament. Some players seem to have an easier draw than others, and certain top seeds may be ousted early. The guys discuss whether Sinner or Alcaraz will have an easier run to the final, and what top players could make an exit earlier than their projected quarterfinals. This week Erik and Aidan kick off the episode by discussing the pair of ATP 500 tournaments that happened this past week in Halle and London at Queen's Club. In Halle, the story of the week was Sinner getting upset by Alexander Bublik in the second round. Immediately, this loss has driven speculation about both Sinner's level on grass and his mental state after his loss at Roland Garros. On the other side, Alcaraz won the title at Queen's club for a second time, giving him even more momentum going into Wimbledon in a couple of weeks. The pair then discuss some of their 2025 predictions that they made at the end of last year, and look back at how accurate their commentary from that time has been through six months.
