After testing them, she fell asleep in Baby Bear's bed, which was "just right." The bears returned home and discovered evidence of the intruder. They found their porridge disturbed, their chairs messed with, and finally, Goldilocks asleep in Baby Bear's bed. The bears' voices woke Goldilocks, who was initially terrified. However, instead of being angry, Mummy Bear offered her milk and biscuits. Goldilocks apologized for her intrusion. They all shared porridge and biscuits, and Goldilocks helped fix Baby Bear's chair.
