About this listen

Jack, a poor boy living with his mother, is sent to sell their cow. Instead of money, he trades the cow for magic beans, angering his mother. She throws the beans out the window, and overnight, a giant beanstalk grows. Jack climbs the beanstalk, finding a castle in the clouds inhabited by a giant. He hides as the giant searches for him, shouting the iconic "Fee fie foe fum." Jack discovers a golden goose laying golden eggs. Jack seizes the goose and makes his escape. The giant pursues him, but Jack cleverly outmaneuvers him. He races down the beanstalk, with the giant close behind. Reaching the ground, Jack grabs an axe and chops down the beanstalk, stranding the giant in the clouds. Jack and his mother are safe, and the golden goose ensures they are no longer poor, providing them with golden eggs. They live happily ever after, enjoying golden eggs with honey for breakfast.
