The Tampa Bay Rays lose another frustrating game to the Minnesota Twins, 6-5. The Rays once led 5-1. Then for the 2nd straight game it was a complete collapse by the bullpen. The Rays bullpen gave up the last 5 runs of the game to lose again. Masked in all of that was a good bounce back start from Taj Bradley. He went 5.2 IP only giving up 3 runs and striking out 5. The offense put pressure on all game but could not get the big hits needed after the Twins tied the game. The Rays will look to avoid the sweep tomorrow afternoon.

The Tampa Bay Rays blow another lead losing to the Twins 4-3. The Rays found themselves down 1-0 after the first 5 innings but would get some traction in the 6th. It started with a Yandy Diaz RBI double and a Junior single to give the Rays the lead. The Rays would add another run in the 7th to make it 3-1. Thats when the Bullpen would implode. The Rays bullpen gave up the last 3 runs of the game. The Bullpen spoiled what was a fantastic outing from Zack Littell. Littell went 6 IP 4 hits giving up only 1 run. The Rays have now lost 4 of their last 5 games and will look to bounce back tomorrow afternoon.

The Tampa Bay Rays picked up a much-needed win on Wednesday night, edging the A’s 6-5 in a wild game. It didn’t start well for Tampa Bay, as the A’s jumped out to a 2-0 lead early. The Rays cut into the deficit in the bottom of the second when Jake Mangum raced around the bases for an inside-the-park home run to make it 2-1. After a quiet stretch, the Rays' offense broke through in the sixth. Josh Lowe launched a solo homer to dead center to tie the game, followed by a Brandon Lowe double and a towering two-run shot by Yandy Díaz that gave the Rays their first lead. Chandler Simpson added an RBI single as part of a two-run frame to stretch the lead to 6-2. The A's mounted a furious rally in the ninth, scoring three runs to make it 6-5 and loading the bases. But Edwin Uceta came through in the clutch, striking out Nick Kurtz to seal the win. Ryan Pepiot delivered a strong bounce-back start for the Rays, going six innings with nine strikeouts and earning the win. Tampa Bay now gets a day off before heading to Minnesota for their final road trip ahead of the All-Star break.
