About this listen
My life doesn't feel like my own. My work schedule is hectic. I have next to no social life, let alone any romantic relationship to speak of.
That changes when I meet HIM.
--♥--
From the outside looking in, my life should be perfect. I’ve worked so hard to achieve success as a model. Unfortunately, there’s a dark side of this industry—one that threatens to ruin everything I’ve struggled to achieve.
But I refuse to confess my problems to my family. Not when my twin sister’s dream wedding is this weekend. For them, I put on a brave face and go through the motions.
Then I meet a tall, dark and handsome stranger at the resort bar.
Attraction sparks, as does a whirlwind vacation romance we both have every intention of leaving on that Caribbean island. Little do we know, that week in paradise reveals a connection neither of us expected.
One we aren’t ready to let go.
I don’t know if I can fit a romance into my hectic life, but God knows I want to try.
Little do I know, Mr. Handsome has secrets of his own. Secrets that complicate our relationship in ways I never could have imagined…

Terrible narration
I don’t usually mind virtual voice narration but the voice chosen for this one is distractingly terrible. It hits some pitches that are akin to nails on a chalkboard. Story content itself was good.

The second chapter is the repeat of the first chapter
I liked the book, but do you AI reading it is leaves much to be desired. For example, the second chapter is literally the first chapter repeated. You would think they would try to have a process to make sure things like words are said accurately to the best of their abilities, and this is the best recording they got that is just sad
