But in the midst of devastation, Watson meets Rex, a massive yet kind-hearted Saint Bernard.

Together, they will face endless horrors, ruthless threats, and the ultimate challenge… clinging to one last impossible hope:

A final human refuge… where pets are still welcome.

Solid story

Pretty endearing story with a lot of emotion considering the limitlimitations of the AI narration. it fumbled tone & emphasis here and there, but overall it was a great short story

The virtual voice is bad, but I did like the story so I suffered through it.

I'm really upset about AI voices.

Audible, please stop using AI voices. I think this would have been a cute story, but the voice was so UTTERLY BAD that it was a DNF for me. The AI voice was hard to follow, and it was difficult to distinguish between characters. Read by a human, this might have been alright for a kid's zombie book. I'm never downloading anything read by a virtual voice again!!!!!!!!!
