NOT YOUR AVERAGE VEGAN BOOK!
This book was so good that I actually finished it in one sitting. You might be turned off by the idea of reading a book with the word 'vegan' in the title, but I promise you that this book is far from what you're expecting. It is entertaining, educational, and well presented. It is refreshing to see veganism presented with a healthy side of good humor. It is also nice that the authors read the book themselves. If you're boring and shy away from controversial topics, then maybe this book isn't for you.
Through their witty humor, personal experience, and relevant research, they lay out a lot of myths and facts that just might challenge the way you currently live your life, whether you are currently eating meat with every meal or you have banned all animal products from your life. This book is about being a better person...or at least less of an a**hole! ;)

Not as hip as the cover.
It's as if they wrote a book and then hired a 16 year old potty mouth to throw in profanity throughout the book thinking it made them cooler. It was so annoying and distracting that I barely made it through. I don't care about these privileged guys and why they went vegan. They are presenting the same facts, myths and 'vegan' quotes as all the other books but wrapped in (as they would mildly say) CRAP! . Skip this book!

This was informative and funny! the best part for me was the lack of judgment for someone interested in trying the vegan lifestyle but also recognizing that you don't have to be perfect 100% of the time.

I love the tone of this.
It does slide into confirmation bias at times, but I fully support this argument of taking the identity out of veganism.
I’ve been a vegetarian for 15 years and this was helpful in me moving more towards finally becoming a vegan.

Great Book!
I began the slow transition to becoming a vegan last year because of the cruelty and suffering of animals in factory farms. I only wish I had read this book a year ago. I recognized I was becoming one of those preachy vegans and felt some bitterness at times towards non vegans. I have definitely learned from this book that using a more positive encouraging approach is the best way to help the animals. I will definitely be giving this book to non vegan friends and family.
