About this listen
Christmas is a wonderful Christian holiday that has been enjoyed by many for hundreds of years. Or is it a collection of repackaged pagan practices setup by the Roman Catholic church in order to replace paganism? I guess it would depend on who you ask, but ultimately it cannot be both.
Today there seems to be a battle between two camps concerning the origins of Christmas. Memes, videos, and blogs are filled with opinions, but what is the truth behind the matter? What evidence is there to support the views that are being shared?
In this book we will be looking at the Biblical account of the birth of Christ and compare it to what we often see the story portrayed as today in plays, movies, and nativity scenes. We will also examine the date of December 25th and determine when and how it was selected as the day that Christmas is celebrated. Lastly, we will look at other traditions, such as Christmas trees and Santa Claus, and figure out where they came from and how they fit in the holiday. While many theories and opinions abound these days, our goal is to find the truth about this subject and have it be grounded in historical data and not just hearsay.

A half-wit shares his rant
This isn’t a book. It’s the rough draft of a blog written on a bender. It contains no value and I regret reading it.
