About this listen
The handbook also covers topics such as economic support, mediation as a divorce step, attorney selection, negotiations and international considerations. In the appendix, Cardelus includes templates to communicate with your lawyer, links to articles, lawyer directories, and useful websites.
A Note to Help Prospective Readers
The No-Nonsense Divorce Handbook does not detail state regulations. It provides a foundation that will help you ask the right questions, speed your research, and select a lawyer. From time to time, reference is made to the process in Texas, as an example.
This book doesn't substitute the necessary research and legal consultations that will be needed for your specific case.
About the Author
Camille Cardelus is the pen name of the author. Her divorce required counsel from two states and three countries. Her book, The No-Nonsense Divorce Handbook: A primer for busy parents, started as a compilation of her learnings and research to help other parents. Her pages were later reviewed by award-winning lawyers to become a published work.
