About this listen
For people with busy lives, meal prepper is the ultimate godsend. And if you're a newbie to this life-changing mindset, don't worry! We're here to help.
What is meal prepping?
It's a habit of planning meals and snacks in advance. In order to make your life easier, you'll be able to prepare more nutritious meals than those that you normally have on the go.
How do you meal prep?
It's all about planning your entire week of meals in advance so that you can make the shopping list and stick to it. The goal is to make life easier and to save tons of time. If you're a busy working professional, there's nothing better than a good meal prepping session because it allows you to plan your entire week for the week ahead, meaning less stress in your daily routine.
When I was younger, I used to live with two roommates and we had no idea about meal prep. We were very young and didn't have much money. Usually, we ate fried food and chips. We would go out to eat a lot, which meant that we were spending tons of money. It didn't even occur to us that eating healthy could be less expensive than eating junk food. The worst part? We were always tired and exhausted because we had no energy to do anything else other than eat junk food and go out all the time.
Everything changed after my boyfriend introduced me to meal prepping, which led me to read lots of articles about it on the internet.
