Great finale to memorable series
I am not usually a fan of religious fiction, even though I'm a Christian, but Lawana Blackwell's books are magical exceptions, especially this 4-book series about the village of Gresham. Her characters are multidimensional and face realistic challenges. And I LOVE narrator Beverley Crick, who makea them all SO real. I found myself swept into this English village, and the late 1880s. I already lament that there seem to be no more new adventures of Vicar Phelps and his wife, actor Ambrose Clay and his lovely wife Fiona, and all the dozens of other villagers. This series is a true gift.

Delightful uplifting story
Truly enjoyed the entire series. Great character developing with human complexity. This final book in the series was enchanting with some of the darkest elements with a faith filled courage and development of the main characters with their demons and grace leading them. I’m sorry this is the final book in the series. Thank you

Loved, loved, loved this whole series!
All four books were absolutely wonderful! I had never heard of Lawana Blackwell before, however she's on my radar now. The narrator was wonderful as well! Between the story and the narrator, I feel as though I personally know the characters and the lovely village they lived in. I've added these to my favorites as I will definitely read this series again -- it's just that good.

Have read the Gresham series and enjoy her story following the extended family and Gresham neighbors - all interesting well developed characters with their back stories and transitions as they experience life.
Excellent narrator who brings to life a wide variety of characters’ voices.
