The ai narrator missed many language cues

Juvenile writing with little variation in language. Predictably dull. Lacking in intrigue, character development and plot.

Did not like virtual voice narration

The virtual voice narration was lacking in emotion and inflection. The overall story would have been so much better with a live narrator.

AI is No Substitute for Human Narrators

Good story. Some aspects were not realistic, like the time to renovate the inn, get a legal divorce, or the recovery time after getting a kidney transplant—but the backstories were plausible. The AI narration had some issues. I’m used to the narrators changing their voices for each character. AI was the same voice for everyone, making it a bit challenging to decipher who was speaking at times. Also, there were awkward sentence breaks and intonations where you could totally tell it was AI. I listened all the way through and was reminded that actors knew when to bring feeling and depth into dialogue that technology didn’t because it doesn’t feel. As an author, it’s tempting to leverage AI as a cost effective alternative, but maybe after a couple of iterations.

Not a fan of the computer generated voice

I liked the story line. Struggled a little with the stupid computer generated voice but hung in there to see it through

AI Narration

Good story but the AI narration came across as stilted and mechanical. The program would be incredible if the emotion this story evokes were emoted by a live reader.

The virtual voice

Out of curiosity I listened to this narration. It was horrible and only finished listening to the full story to not punish the author for the terrible narration. The story was cute.

Great story. but change voices

I wish that after the first couple of chapters when the girls became adults that you had a different person reading because I kept picture them as still small girls. her voice was too childish for the adults

Sisterhood

I didn’t like the AI reading
Kind of makes you want to sleep. Would have been better with real people reading this

Narration.

The virtual voice narration on this series was not enjoyable at all. There was no expression to the reading. Very flat and monotone.
