About this listen

Hollywood star Dakota Fanning narrates the audio of one of the most anticipated books of the year, from #1 New York Times bestselling author Jennifer Weiner.

A glimmering novel set in the world of 2000s pop music about sisters, motherhood, young love, and the dreams we chase. The audio edition includes an original song inspired by the novel.

Cassie and Zoe Grossberg were thrust into the spotlight as The Griffin Sisters, a pop duo that defined the aughts. Together, they skyrocketed to the top, gracing MTV, SNL, and the cover of Rolling Stone. Cassie, a musical genius who never felt at ease in her own skin, preferred to stay in the shadows. Zoe, full of confidence and craving fame, lived for the stage. But fame has a price, and after one turbulent year, the band abruptly broke up.

Now, two decades later, the sisters couldn’t be further apart. Zoe is a suburban mom warning her daughter Cherry to avoid the spotlight, while Cassie has disappeared from public life entirely. But when Cherry begins unearthing the truth behind their breathtaking rise and infamous breakup, long-buried secrets surface, forcing all three women to confront their choices, their desires, and their complicated bonds.

With richly developed characters, a nostalgic nod to the pop culture of the 2000s, and a resonant tale of ambition, forgiveness, and family, The Griffin Sisters' Greatest Hits will captivate listeners from the first note to the final encore. Whether you’ve followed Jennifer Weiner for years or are discovering her for the first time, this book is a must-listen for music lovers, fans of sisterly dramas, and anyone who cherishes a great story of second chances.

I never knew

What the ending might be for this complicated story of the passions of its also complicated main characters. It wasn’t the ending that I hoped for, but Weiner’s ending was the right one

I love her characters

It has been a while since I’ve listened to one of her books.
I was reminded that I have absolutely loved everything I have even listened to by Jennifer Weiner. She is an amazing writer and intertwined in all her main characters is an underlying love for one another. This is the message we all need to remember in our daily lives.
I couldn’t wait to turn it back on and listen every chance I got. I was weeping at the end and a sad it was over.

You had me at Girl Band!

Jennifer has the most incredible way of telling a story of the human spirit with such a profound range of emotions! I love this story, I love these flawed, beautiful characters and I PRAY that we get more of the Griffin Sisters!

Think Daisy Jones and The Six blends a band book with the band Heart .

I liked it don’t get me wrong but I hated the way the whole imagine of Cassie was represented. I know this author is very sensitive to the “ chunky ,fat ,chubby ,solid “ looking character but Cassie came off as a hideous fat troll and I hated that . It was too much about her looks and that bothered me. I loved the band triangle angst and the sister who really was so unlikable at times . Poor Cassie between how her mother felt about her in utero to her sister’s behavior it was sad . It’s not a story that you haven’t read or heard before but it was entertaining enough . I wouldn’t have said it was great but it was entertaining enough . Dakota Fanning did a great job telling the story and I had some questions in the end that weren’t answered but with that all said it was a good read . Maybe the author can take a time out about character size for a bit . We all come in different sizes ,we all get that but it’s too much focusing on that in her stories that are getting annoying now . Tell me about the character’s thinking ,mindset ,true self I don’t care about the thigh size ,enough with that now please
