Entering the mind of a madman is the key…but will it save her land of Genthor, or destroy her?

The darkness comes swiftly, awakening Gwendolen to the threat her people now face. An intruder has crossed the border between dimensions and enters Genthor, obsessed with claiming it as his own.

Within the art of the Esoteric created by her mother, she is discovering deep and powerful mysteries, ancient magic borne out of Genthor’s origins. It is this which the intruder seeks to control. She knows it must all be protected. But how can she fight against what she cannot see?

Help comes to her through Ga Fael Fawr, gatekeeper of the enchanted forest of Aginmare where Gwendolen's initiation into her mystic journey begins. The gatekeeper gives her a sword of transformation, a weapon forged out of light.

"With this sword you have the power to convert evil. Through it you can find the way to protect your world and those you love. But take heed. The sword cannot be used in violence, or its power will die, and so will the Esoteric, and Genthor will cease to exist."

Yet in the intruder's mind lies madness and an uncontrollable desire for vengeance and power. Gwendolen knows she must enter the energy that lies in the stranger's mind and heart, and it is she, terrified as she feels, who must find a way to stop him.

"Face your fear," the gatekeeper tells her. "What is precious must not be given away."
