About this listen
My goal is to assist the widow traveling alone to fully immerse herself in the experience and have an amazing and safe travel journey.
However, this book is about more than just travel. This book is about travel being a tool to help deal with grief and loneliness. So, I am sharing my own grief-abating travel journey where I used travel as my therapist. Obviously, dealing with grief requires many tools, but this book is to offer one implement to anyone in need of grief support of any kind.
I learned that travel is a way to change the trajectory of grief, because you reveal new things about yourself. You face novel and different challenges outside of your comfort zone. In my case, I retraced steps in travel I took when part of a couple so that I could make new memories, to help me let go and say goodbye.
Join me for the next Widow's travel journey - Destination Hawai'i!
