A Scoop of Murder
In the quaint Alaskan town of Shelter Mountain, ice cream shop owner Abigail Stone's quiet fishing trip turns chilling when she reels in more than she bargained for—a dreadful corpse.
Armed with her pet ferret Flick and an insatiable appetite for solving mysteries, Abigail dives headfirst into the investigation. But as she uncovers long-buried secrets and stirs up a hornet's nest of suspects, she realizes this small town's placid surface conceals dangerous undercurrents.
With the help of Tucker, her handsome childhood friend turned local officer, Abigail must navigate treacherous waters filled with jilted lovers, grudge-holding locals, and a web of lies that threatens to entangle her.
Can Abigail serve up justice before the killer strikes again?
Or will she find herself on the wrong end of the scoop in this deliciously twisted tale of murder, ice cream, and small-town secrets?

bad narration
I liked the story but it needed a live narrator. Visual narrator can't tell the difference between read present tense and read past tense.

AI leaves it lacking
I thought it was a good plot and storyline but the AI reading left something to be desired ….. would have enjoyed it much more had I had time to pick up the hard copy
