 I have a secret. One that some vampires would kill me for. Problem is...I don't know about it yet.

My life is a never ending series of background checks, faulty insurance claims,and cheating spouses. Basically, it's predictable and unexciting. Sure, there's the occasional out-of-the-box case, but for the most part, being a private investigator isn't as glamorous as television makes it out to be.

All that changes with one missing person case.

After reluctantly agreeing to search for a missing girl, I find myself suddenly thrown into a world of supernaturals that I never knew existed. And as it becomes clear that vampires might be connected to my case, I have no choice but to tread deeper into this new, unfamiliar, and dangerous world - a decision that inadvertently leads to the discovery of a secret ability I had no idea I had.

No ordinary human should be able to do what I can. And it quickly gains me the unwanted attention of a malicious vampire who will stop at nothing to get to me.

Now my life is in danger.

Luckily, I have two new men in my life who desperately want to keep me safe. Lucian, a mouth-wateringly handsome vampire, hell bent on protecting me and stealing my heart while he's at it. And Aiden, my newly appointed live-in werewolf bodyguard, tasked to guard me at all costs, and to double as my new office assistant.

But will they be enough to protect me?

With people continuing to disappear around the city, it's becoming obvious that there's something bigger going on...something none of us could have anticipated.

Word Pronouncement

Many words were mispronounced and were so glaringly obvious that it kept pulling me out of the story. Good book. Great plot.
