About this listen
Katie Hughes has always been a loner, and her overprotective aunt hasn’t helped her grow. After making friends with a black stallion on a remote nature preserve, she doesn’t feel so alone. The animal can’t stay on the island, so she makes plans to take him back with her. Things get complicated when her handsome stallion becomes an even more handsome man. For the first time in her life, she feels an overwhelming attraction he seems to reciprocate. But can she trust the man as much as she trusted the horse? And what other secrets is he keeping from her?
This is the second book in a trilogy, but you can enjoy the story as a standalone.

mythical horse prince romance
Interesting subjects, combining mythical and clinical topics. The AI narrator got some inflections off but was mostly good and didn't interfere with the storyline.
