About this listen
Dear Mr. Jerry, I have to admit, hearing my friend's reasons for atheism did spur some questions in me. You have no idea how much it means to me that I have someone who can answer them for me. I love it very much.
Some questions raised by teens include:
If we are decendents of cavemen, and the Adam and Eve story in eden is an allegory, is there an original sin?
Is there a more believable way to explain the exodus from egypt led by Moses?
What good does it do to pray for the dead, aren’t they already where they will be for eternity?
How much power does God actually have? Can God prevent or stop a war?
How could a loving god let someone like Stalin or Hitler kill millions of people, most of whom prayed for God’s help ?
If God wants us all to follow him, why doesn’t he come back and perform more miracles?
Does life really begin at conception or is it at implantation or even later?
Why don’t the priests or bishop talk about these and similar topics?
