About this listen
Four Women. Four Confessions. One Murder.
Something has gone terribly wrong at the Banks wedding. A man is dead. Four different women rush to offer confessions, each insisting that they committed the crime - alone. Ginger is holding her family together by a thread, and this wedding weekend is not the fabulous getaway she anticipated.
Kate has enough money to buy her way out of anything. Well, almost anything. Emily can't shake her reputation or her memories, and she's planning to drown this whole vacation in a bottle.
Lulu's got ex-husbands to spare, and another on the way - as soon as she figures out what the devil the current husband is up to behind her back.
Why would they confess to the same murder? Only they know - and they're not telling. This pause-resisting novel explores the depths of friendship and the truths we love to ignore.

Loved the characters and story. A solid 4.5
With the last few books that I have read, this one had me interested since the very first chapter.
I enjoyed the characters. I felt like everyone’s story was interesting and gave different views of how life can turn out for different people.
From LuLu to Elsie, they all were just great to hear about. Loved how a group of old college friends.. minus one were able to come together years later and connect at this wedding. Although I half forgot about Whitney as she did not have much to do with the story besides it being her wedding.
I had went through a list of who could have been the one murdered but didn’t see how it would all play out and who was involved.
Sydney Banks … an odd character from the start but I still feel like there is a part of me saying she’s still not saying the whole truth….
Good read!

such a lovely book about friendship
Great characters, all the women were truly uniquely different. You would enjoy this if you like books about friendship, motherhood challenges. Not really a mystery at all but really enjoyed the book!

Starts slow. Felt predictable. BUT ended great!
Great to listen too. It's felt like it was off to a little bit of a slow start. And also felt predictable. But there's a little twist at the end that I wasn't expecting. Definitely worth the listen.

Great read and creative format
A little darker than Gina's other books and definitely not something to listen to with little ears close by.
I loved how you got the different perspectives of these 4 woman and how their back stories beautifully unravel.
A few plot twists that go in a different direction than the reader might think, but Gina leaves you with all the loose ends tied up.

Good book
I enjoyed the storyline. It kep me interested. It did drag on a bit especially detailing each characters dialog. The ending was sort of a letdown to me for various reasons, which I won’t go into because it would give too much away. It may be that it’s because I got real involved with the characters and hence it didn’t end the way I would have liked! Definitely recommend!
