About this listen

"A mindbender." (Jessica Knoll)

"Riveting...a winner." (Laura Dave)

"A knockout." (Mary Kubica)

From the New York Times best-selling author of The Last Flight comes a twisted con-woman thriller about two women out for revenge—or is it justice?

Two women. Many aliases.

Meg Williams. Maggie Littleton. Melody Wilde. Different names for the same person, depending on the town, depending on the job. She's a con artist who erases herself to become whoever you need her to be—a college student. A life coach. A real estate agent. Nothing about her is real. She slides alongside you and tells you exactly what you need to hear, and by the time she's done, you've likely lost everything.

Kat Roberts has been waiting 10 years for the woman who upended her life to return. And now that she has, Kat is determined to be the one to expose her. But as the two women grow closer, Kat's long-held assumptions begin to crumble, leaving Kat to wonder who Meg's true target is.

The Lies I Tell is a twisted domestic thriller that dives deep into the psyches and motivations of two women and their unwavering quest to seek justice for the past and rewrite the future.

Buckle up, you’re in for a crazy ride!

Julie Clark does it again! I highly recommend this book if you like a psychological thriller/mystery without the scary factor. This has major girl power vibes and justice! I couldn’t put this down.

I literally clapped at the end

This was a fantastic novel!! The story line is great and easy to follow. Narration is wonderful. I love a story when terrible people get what they deserve; this novel serves it up. — not a spoiler since you get this in the first couple of chapters.

I enjoyed it from beginning to end!
She has a style that is clear no matter how involved the story gets. The narrators were perfect! Looking forward to the next book.

Amazing story!

I don’t want to give anything away, so I’ll just say it was a wonderful story! I will be searching for more books by this author and narrator.

I loved every minute

It's been a long time since I've read or listened to a book that I didn't want to end. At first I thought the voices of the 2 women were too similar, but as their characters were developed, it became very clear who was who.
Without giving anything away, I thoroughly enjoyed how the author's mind worked... in every single way. "There are winners, and there are losers..." this one is definitely a winner

I wish I could give this more than 5 stars

I loved this book! One of the best thrillers I’ve listened to in a while. I listen to a lot, and this one kept me guessing and trying to figure it out until the very end. Narration is great as well. This is a good one

Great but not sure why the hype of twists n turns

great and interesting story line! I was interested from beginning to end. I don't see the HUGE hype of twist and turns that booktok and blogs were referring too but it was still all and all a great story line!

The Lies I Tell (This contains Spoilers)

I loved listening to this Audio Book.
I wish that there was more of a backstory of the reason why Meg wanted revenge on Ron. Like what in Megs childhood made her hate Ron other than him taking away her childhood home?
Other than that it was a great story filled with many Thrills and Shocking Twist!
