A great resource for those struggling...
This is a great book to listen to or read if you are currently trying to stay clean or struggling with the process. It's not an easy path, and it can be lonely, but with the right tools like this book, it can be achievable. Although I myself have not experienced this, I do have a close friend who is struggling with alcoholism and reading this book allowed me to understand her more. It has helped me better understand what she is going through and help her more effectively. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who has experienced addition or knows anyone who has experienced it.

It is greatly-written
It's regrettable to see that drugs are always around me today. My best friend became addicted to drugs while working. He started to become depressed and wasted. As a friend who grew up with me, it pains me to see the situation he is in now. When I met with him recently, he always displayed a less-than-clean appearance, with messy hair that seemed like it hadn't been combed in a long time. He revealed to me that he knew drug use was bad, but he couldn't control himself and after several attempts at rehab, he couldn't help but do it again. After seeing this book online, I wanted to go ahead and learn about some ways on how to help people get clean. The book contains things like five simple steps to recover from addiction, five factors that affect the likelihood of addiction, twelve guiding spiritual principles, and various ways to teach a person how to stay away from drugs step by step, both physically and mentally. I will help pass these methods on to my friend in hopes that it will help him get out of the grip of drugs and start a new normal life.

Helpful Audiobook for Sobriety
I had been struggling with addiction for years and had almost given up hope, but this audiobook gave me the tools and support I needed to finally quit. The five simple steps to recovering from addiction were incredibly helpful, and I especially appreciated the emphasis on changing your thoughts to change your life. The spiritual principles were also a great guide towards inner peace and happiness. Overall, I highly recommend this audiobook to anyone who wants to take back control of their life.

Taking it one day at a time
The best approach is often the simplest, and breaking our recovery into day-by-day to get and remain sober may be the best for someone recovering from addiction. Recovery is a personal journey that is presented in the power of 5; 5 steps to recover, 5 filters that need to be reset, and 5 factors to identify that may make you more prone to addiction. The positive approach to recovery and using what works for you, both internal and external strategies, sets this apart from other self-help books. Great book on beating addiction
This is a great book about beating addiction. Many of the different meetings that people can attend are mentioned such as: AA, NA, etc. The author stresses the importance of attending meetings and going through the 12 step program. There is a wealth of information to anyone anyone struggling with addiction. I highly recommend this book.

Wonderful book!
The author does such a great job of giving you solutions to stay clean. Drinking can have such a negative effect on your life and your lifestyle.Not being to spend time with loved ones. and not being healthy can be very stressful and depressing. Having a daily routine that prevents you from even being around alcohol will save you from any temptations which is why this book is a must. Highly recommended!
