The story premise is not something that I buy into but that doesn’t matter because it’s supposed to put you to sleep. I liked the background music a lot because I am a retired musician and it didn’t have any obvious stop/start points to a recording or sound sample. Just about every other meditative “book” on audible either has those repetitive backgrounds or doesn’t have any at all after the beginning. The book was performed by the author which I would normally like but this one doesn’t have a soothing enough voice to be able to lead me into a totally relaxing experience. I stopped trying after less than 15 minutes. I recommend having a soft breathy British or Australian male to do the narrator if it’s re-recorded.
