About this listen
Christopher Dankovich - A fifteen-year-old kid who brutally stabbed his mother over one-hundred times in the foyer of her Rochester Hills home. There were no signs of mental illness or reported abuse, but there was an underlying tension in the relationship unbeknownst to everyone.
Kevin Davis - An eighteen-year-old loner who strangled, bludgeoned, and raped his mother's corpse in Corpus Christi, Texas. He had struggled with dark thoughts of rape, murder, and torture before attacking his mother on the couch in their two-bedroom apartment.
Anthony "Tony" Baekeland - A child born into wealth and privilege that showed signs of mental illness from an early age. His mother tried to "cure" his homosexuality through the use of prostitutes and an incestuous relationship before he snapped and stabbed her in the heart.
Plus two more intriguing stories of a hostile-dependent mother and child relationship that resulted in murder. They say that the bond between a mother and her child is inviolable, but sometimes that bond is broken, and the result is murder.

Story
Serial sexual homicide is a crime that is committed purely for sexual gratification. Well known serial killers such as Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy, and BTK were all motivated by power, sexuality, and brutality. These types of murders often receive widespread publicity, and create a sense of fear due to their nonsensical, motiveless, and random nature. At some point in the killer’s life, their sexual urges and arousal become intertwined with sadism – taking sexual pleasure from their victim’s fear, humiliation, physical, and emotional pain. The obsession often takes root during the ...

Story
The term “serial killer” was first introduced in the 1970s by FBI Agent Robert Ressler. Shortly after joining the FBI in 1970, he was recruited to join the newly developed Behavioral Science Unit where he became fascinated with the psychology behind violent offenders. He wanted to better understand the motive behind a murder – what caused the person to act out in such a way, and what similarities these individuals shared. Ressler recognized that most offenders knew their victims, but there was a certain type of killer that picked their victims at random, and often killed multiple ...

Inside a beautiful house in Philadelphia's ritzy Main Line section lay the body of a young mother - dead of an apparent drowning in her bathtub. With no sign of a break-in, no history of marital problems, and the naïve belief that these things sometimes just happen, Stefanie Rabinowitz's family prepared to bury the 29-year-old wife and mother. But at the 11th hour, because Stefanie was so young, and because there were no witnesses to her death, an autopsy was ordered. And what it revealed was unthinkable: Stefanie had been murdered.

Horrible narration by AI
Please - narration is an art and is as much a part of the story as the plot. AI is monotone, mis- pronounces words, and is just dreadful to listen to. Please leave reading the books to actual humans.
