Excellent bipolar support guide!
If you or someone close to you is struggling with bipolar disorder, this book is an empowering support guide for smoothing out the mental and emotional storms that can often occur. The author offers effective calming techniques to manage bipolar episodes in the early pre-trigger stage and even decreasing the outburst if already launched. Brain activity is discussed and gives the reader the understanding that a biological component is involved, helping to diminish the impulse to judge. There is also a discussion regarding ways to repair relationships that have weathered the emotional storms. Understanding is key and guidance is given as to creating support among family and friends. Overall, a wonderful resource!

I understand it so much better now
Before this I didn’t understand bipolar disorder. This book helped me learn a lot and I was actually surprised by how many things there were that I didn’t just not understand but I actually had the totally opposite idea from what was actually going on. This helped correct many misconceptions that I had. I like that I didn’t just explain what this disorder is but also give steps for repairing relationships.

A grounding resource
As someone who has struggled with bipolar disorder in close personal relationships, I found to be an incredibly informative and insightful audiobook. The author does an excellent job of breaking down what a bipolar diagnosis really means, and what is happening inside the brain on a biological level.
The audiobook covers a wide range of topics, from treatment options to common bipolar triggers, and practical ways to manage thoughts and feelings so that you are in control of them. One of the most valuable sections for me was learning about how to calm the emotional storm so that you can feel more peace and less pain. The techniques provided were practical and effective.
Another essential section was how to help friends and family understand your condition better so they can support you in your time of need. This section provided me with valuable tools to communicate with my loved ones and help them better understand my condition.
Overall, this audiobook is an essential resource for anyone struggling with bipolar disorder or knows someone who is.
