Elsie Fin is hell-bent on revenge against her father's murderer. She develops a successful cattle-rustling operation as payback, but is soon in over her head. While Elsie seeks her groom, she hires Wyatt Parker to help her around the ranch. Little does she know, he's actually an undercover deputy tasked with gaining her trust and verifying the marshal's suspicion of her theft.
Wyatt never imagined a beautiful, sweet woman like Elsie would be the mastermind behind such a serious illegal activity. Soon his loyalties are split between the law and a woman whose kindness and vulnerability bring out powerful feelings of tenderness in him.
Compelled to protect the wayward woman, Wyatt makes covert plans to rescue her, reasoning that Elsie is more in need of a spanking than life in prison. But will she end up behind bars or married to her mail-order groom before Wyatt can reveal his feelings for her and carry out his plan to save her?

Amelia Smarts brings it!
There is never a dull moment in an Amelia Smarts book! I don't know where the ideas come from, but this historical western, with a woman in charge of a ranch is a pleasure to listen to. The heroine Elsie Fin, at the young age of 18, comes up with a vengeful plan to rustle cows from the one man that she feels killed her father. Mark Xavier's actions put Elsie's farm at risk, and now she plans on getting some compensation. She decides it's time to settle down, and puts in an ad for a mail-order groom. In the mean time, Wyatt Parker comes to her ranch and she hires him to help around the homestead. Their attraction to each other is apparent, but she doesn't know his real purpose for being there. The questions at this point is will their relationship bloom, will she land in jail for stealing the cattle and what will become of the groom she has chosen? So much going on, the listen is quick and satisfying. Smarts has a way of writing her characters with spunky personality and perseverance as well as sizzling chemistry, it's hard to put the book down! And Wyatt's way of keeping Elsie in line...hot...
Logan McAllister narrates this book with an ease and comfort that draws you right back to the time period. He gives Wyatt that alpha male voice to make you melt and the tenacity that Elsie needs to keep herself believable in a man's world. Great storytelling!

A ROLLICKING WESTERN THAT SWEETLY SATIATES
Amelia Smarts TANTALIZES once again in this heart-tugging tale of revenge and redemption set in the Old West!! This author always manages to transport me to the rugged frontier with her vibrant characters, picturesque descriptions and wonderful attention to detail of that time period. Every time I listen to one of her beguiling audios, I know I am going to be taken on quite an adventure and left feeling all warm and toasty inside. And JUSTICE FOR ELSIE is no exception!
THE STORY:
In a nutshell, this is the story of Elsie Fin, a young, grief-stricken young ranch owner who is bent on revenge against the scoundrel who she holds responsible for pushing her hardworking, kindhearted pa into an early grave after sabotaging their once-prosperous cattle ranch. As revenge, she decides to orchestrate a profitable cattle-rustling operation to make the ghastly Mark Xavier sorry for ever messing with her family. But the feisty cowgirl did not count on the tall, strappingly handsome Wyatt Parker to put a kibosh on her plans.
Since Elsie needs a strong, stalwart man to help her run the Infinity Ranch, and keep her in line, she places an advertisement for a male order groom. While she awaits his arrival, she hires Wyatt as a ranch hand when he comes to her place, hat in hand, looking for honest work in exchange for room and board. But unbeknownst to her, the injured gentleman is an actually an undercover deputy hired by the local sheriff to investigate her supposed wrongdoing and bring her to justice. But Wyatt never factored on the spirited little lady to worm her way into his jaded heart. Although he has a job to do, his loyalties are divided because he is deeply affected by Elsie’s desperate plight—not to mention charmed by her kind-hearted, spunky personality and FIERCELY AROUSED by her luscious, womanly curves.
Although his ladyboss does need to be taken to task for her dangerous, lawbreaking scheme, he does not believe she deserves to be locked behind bars and devises a plan to hopefully keep her out of prison. MY THOUGHTS:
I RELISHED every single moment of this third installment in Amelia Smarts Mail-Order Grooms series! This rollicking tale was chock full of heartfelt emotion, scorching hot interludes, tinglelicious bottom warmings and gave me a plethora of warm, gooey feels from start to finish. Ms. Smarts always weaves a wonderfully unique, character-driven storyline to go with the smexy times and I just adored these protagonists and the predicaments they faced!
The sparkling chemistry and sizzling sexual tension between Wyatt and Elise was OFF THE CHARTS sweet and deliciously titillating! In my opinion, NO ONE pens strong, dominant yet gentle-hearted frontier heroes and headstrong, yet achingly vulnerable heroines quite like the mega talented Ms. Smarts, and Wyatt and Elsie lassoed my heart from the very start! I love how the gentlemanly yet uncompromising undercover deputy takes sweet, spunky, woefully misguided Elise in hand and ever so dotingly heals her emotional wounds. And, in return, he finds a new lease on life, a purpose, that he never dreamed possible. She fills Wyatt’s heart with gladness and brightens the dark corners of his world, and he makes her feels safe and cherished and OH SO LOVED! And did I mention the domestic discipline sessions and sexy times were kindle-melting hot?! All I can say is YUM!!!
Each and every moment of this audio listen filled me with GIDDY DELIGHT! The narrator, Logan McAllister, was fanfreakingtastic! This is my first audio by him and he is PERFECT for the genre. His deep, rumbly baritone is wonderfully suited for the time period and his depiction of the soft-spoken, ruggedly handsome, uber-protective Wyatt left me all aquiver! Mr. McAllister also did a fine job narrating Elise and the various other supporting characters as well. He really brought these characters to life and did incredible justice to Amelia Smarts' wildly entertaining storyline and her beloved, vibrant characters. He is now on my one click audio-buy list and hopefully he will be narrating many more books for the gifted Ms. Smarts!

If you are looking for a charming and scintillating frontier tale that warms your heart, leaves you squirming, and has you dreaming of lassoing a strong, chivalrous rancher of your own, then JUSTICE FOR ELISE is guaranteed to satisfy!

Elsie and Wyatt
This was a sexy (including spankings), fun read with a good story and narration. Elsie breaks the law and Wyatt is the law. I thoroughly enjoyed this book in one sitting. Each book in this series was such a fun listen. Logan McAllister did a great job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Fun Listen, Great Chemistry
I found this book to be a fun listen as it was a switch up on typical stereotypes of mail-order brides. Elsie was looking for a mail-order groom, and the mastermind behind cattle wrestling operation. Wyatt was an injured ranch hand turned sheriff deputy and determined to save Elsie. The two had great chemistry together. The author wrote a fun story and had great imagery. The narrator did a great performance and made it easy to hear who was speaking. I requested this book and have voluntarily written this review.

Great Read
Justice for Elsie by Amelia Smarts was another great read by the author. Elsie is hell bent on finding her father’s murderer and develops a cattle-rustling operation. Wyatt is an undercover detective trying to find information about the operation. This was a great read.

Historical Romance
I rich historical romance located in the old west. Amelua had created Wyatt and Elsie as interesting characters in a realistic setting. Their burgeoning romance is slow to simmer before it ignites.
