Wanted by Jane Henry is a vigilante romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross.

I absolutely love Jane’s books! They always pull me in and leave me begging for more. I loved the relationship between Jace and Freya. I loved that Freya would give her submission but she still stayed a strong woman throughout the book.

Kai and Wen did an amazing job on the narration! These two always know how to bring a story to life. I can’t wait to listen to more of their work in the near future.

I would highly recommend this book if you like vigilante romances, western romances, or alpha males.

Great Listen!

When Freya is left at the alter when her soon to be husband runs off with a bridesmaid and she is told to put on a happy face and entertain her guests. Freya finds herself stealing a car, then becomes a witness to a murder and then ends up under protective custody of a hot but grumpy vigilante. I listened to the audio of this first I am a big fan of Kai and Wen and love listening to their audio books. This was an entertaining listen. A great story has drama, action, some twist and hot and steamy moments.

Kept me on the edge of my seat!

I asked to receive this Audible book and voluntarily wrote this unbiased review. For me this is one for the most intense books Jane Henry has written. It is filled with treachery, questionable accidents, murder, and a man that will do whatever it takes to protect the people he loves and bring these criminals to their just ends. Jace is a rugged, strong, protective, loving and justice seeking cowboy. Enter Freya a rich woman that never got dirty. Jace saves her after she witnesses a murder. I love how we see Freya change as the story progresses. The listener can't help but to fall in love with these two , that have so much chemistry together. Talk about some hot sex scenes! Wen Ross creates the perfect voice for the dominant, gruff, sexy cowboy. Kai Kennicott creates the sassy rich voice and gradually changes Freya's voice to a more down to earth one. They really brought out the emotions of the characters.

Sexy dominant cowboy, what more could I want?!?!

What a great book by Jane Henry! Jace and Freya are an unexpected couple. At first glance they seem like total opposites but as we all know, opposites attract. They get together pretty quickly but when it’s right, it’s right! I loved that the author brought in some mystery and suspense along with the hot steamy romance. I really enjoyed Kai Kennicott’s and Wen Ross’ performances. I look forward to listening to more books by not only Jane Henry but also by the narrators, Kai and Wen.

Vigilante Cowboy to the rescue!

I enjoyed this audiobook but it wasn’t my favourite. Tons of action, suspense and intrigue and a HEA. But it was the insta love that I found a bit hard to get my mind around after Freya witnesses what she did, and Jace being the scary, loner guy who scares people away just coming to the rescue to a woman he happens to save was hard to wrap my mind around. But it really works out in the end and Jace and Freya find home in one another.

The parts played by Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott were amazing. These two really get into their characters minds and hearts in all their work. I believe anything they do is going to be amazing and you can rest assured of hearing an amazing performance no matter the book or genre. So definitely worth buying this enjoyable book!

I was given this audiobook at my request and this is my honest opinion.

Jace & Freya!

Give me a good romantic suspense and I am a happy listener. Jane Henry creatively weaves a tale of unexpected love with a suspenseful and twist that will keep you on the edge til the very end! Freya flees her wedding, and on her way out witnesses a brutal murder. When spotted, circumstances have her ending up in the cabin of a stranger, Freya is a wonderful character. She is beautiful and strong, but when it comes to living in the woods, this pampered woman is at a loss. Jace is known as the Vigilante, and will do his best to protect this woman, but prefers to be alone, taking care of things as they are needed. This unlikely couple is so perfect. Henry has matched a couple fro different sides of the spectrum and bought them together with such heat an passion, it's impossible not to root for them. But can this possibly work? Can Jace keep her safe, and will she go back to her life of privilege? Give this thrilling story a listen, You will fall for the protective, alpha Jace, live through the eyes of Freya and hold your breath to see how it ends.

Brought to life by the incredible duo of Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross, the story is so real. Their voices just bring out all the nuances of this book, from the fear, to the love, they flow and keep us interested. Kai with Freya's point of view keeps us learning and experiencing all her firsts with wonder, love and passion. Wen as Jace with that country twang, leads us with his constant pull towards Freya, that need to protect and unconditional love. They have a chemistry that emanates through the characters and gives us Henry's story as the movie in our minds.

A WILDLY ADDICTIVE WESTERN ROMP!

WANTED by Jane Henry left me deliciously satiated but still hankering MORE, MORE, MORE!

I absolutely devoured this ROLLICKING audio, narrated resplendently by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross! So what do you get when you have one jilted runaway bride who takes off for parts unknown in a stolen car and ends up the sole witness to a grisly murder? A whole heck of a lot of trouble, that's what! Good thing Little Miss Prim and Proper has Jace, a gruff, growly, dangerously sexy cowboy to rescue her from peril!

WANTED truly surpassed my wildest expectations! Jane Henry always delivers a fast paced, highly sensual read that is unputdownable and I love that she returned to her western flavored roots with this delectable tale! This riveting, delightfully entertaining story is chock full of wickedly filthy erotic romps, oodles of danger and intrigue, and plenty of thrilling twists and turns to keep us on pins and needles. I absolutely ADORED Freya and Jace’s combustible chemistry…these two firebrands not only had a soul deep connection that lassoed my heart, but they generated heat and sparks aplenty, and their witty banter and scorching hot interludes lit ME on fire!

As far as tough, taciturn vigilante cowboys go, Jace had it going on! Equal parts ruggedly beautiful and ruthless, he harbored deep scars on his grief-stricken heart, but out of nowhere Freya blew into his quiet, solitary life and proved to be a temptation he COULD NOT RESIST! Against all odds, this spirited little filly brightened the dark corners of his world and with her pretty little neck on the line, this macho mountain man would KILL to make her his.

Meanwhile, Freya, a blue blooded socialite who has lived in the lap of luxury her whole life yet never found fulfillment or purpose, discovers her true destiny with Jace. This ruggedly commanding cowboy is indeed the most formidable man she has ever encountered, yet his stern exterior masks a gruff tenderness she craves. Surrendering all control beneath his crop makes her body tremble and her soul exalt, and cossetted in his strong, protective embrace she finds the love and acceptance that she’s yearned for her entire life. I also think the author did a fantastic job of weaving in a mystery arc surrounding the hero’s late fiancée's death which ties in well with the heroine's dire predicament. And the manner in which all the moving parts come full circle in the end was highly satisfying.

As for the narration, it was INTOXICATING! Wen Ross’s gruff country twang was TAILOR MADE for the role of Jace, a tough yet gentle hearted recluse who lived and loved hard! And oh how I swooned like a starry eyed sub when he was in full take-charge Dom mode and clearly relished showing Freya who was boss! As for Kai Kennicott, she really nailed Freya's character! I loved how she brought out the heroine's spirit and spunk and endearingly sweet, submissive nature. And I especially appreciated how over time we get to see the true heart of the woman beneath he pampered, privileged exterior.

These two talented, charismatic narrators really brought this sizzling Western romance to full technicolor life. Through their deeply nuanced and heartfelt performances, I felt the steam, the passion, the emotion, the dramatic urgency, and the breathtaking tenderness. And as the danger and passion reached a fever pitch, culminating in a pulse pounding showdown, I rooted for this unstoppable duo to bring down the bad guys and ride off into the sunset together!

Incredible

I absolutely loved this story. It was so simple but had so much going on. It was such a conundrum because in ways their love was so simple but so difficult. This one had a bit of suspense. This was undeniably sexy with some a really nice build to the sexual tension. I love that the fmc was not a complete doormat just a little lost in life and she finds that direction with a very alpha male living alone on his ranch. It had a wonderful narration to draw you in.

LOVED This!!!

I loved this book! and I will first say WOW Wen really delivered on that deep swoooon worthy tone for Jace, oh my ladies! Great pace and great story. I could have used a bit more development but I was still 100% satisfied. as always Fantastic narration!
