About this listen
A Reckless Gamble. A Single Mother’s Faith. One Chance at Redemption.
When billionaire Damon Pierce stakes everything on a single, disastrous bet, he loses his empire, his reputation, and the confidence of the very people who depended on him. In the aftermath of public humiliation and looming legal battles, he contemplates leaving it all behind—until a late-night diner and a waitress named Stephanie offer him a lifeline he never expected.
Drawn to Stephanie’s steadfast faith and her son’s irresistible optimism, Damon begins a profound journey of renewal. From Gamblers Anonymous meetings to the quiet sanctuary of a small church community, he discovers that hope thrives in the humblest places.
As Damon strives to rebuild his life and right the wrongs of his past, he launches Hope Haven—an affordable housing project that could restore shattered lives. Yet the real test comes when he must face not only the public eye but also his own fears. Will he find love and acceptance beyond the bottom line?
A Future Built on Faith is a moving Christian romance about second chances, the healing power of grace, and the courage to believe that even the darkest night can give way to a glorious morning.

Too short, seemed like it was missing something
(Spoiler alert) The story started out so interesting. Towards the end it felt rushed. I wish the author would have taken time to flush out the characters and story. The main characters supposedly went from friends to love interests in a few sentences and in the next chapter, he was proposing…
Other than that, the first half of the book was really good!
