About this listen
If the women who followed Jesus could tell you what he was like, what would they say?
Jesus' treatment of women was revolutionary. That's why they flocked to him. Wherever he went, they sought him out. Women sat at his feet and tugged at his robes. They came to him for healing, for forgiveness, and for answers. So what did women see in this first-century Jewish rabbi, and what can we learn as we look through their eyes today?
In Jesus through the Eyes of Women, Rebecca McLaughlin explores the life-changing accounts of women who met the Lord. By entering the stories of the named and unnamed women in the Gospels, this book gives listeners a unique lens to see Jesus as these women did and marvel at how he loved them in return.

In a world of increasing ideological diversity, kids are being challenged to think through their own beliefs at an early age. Questions like How can you believe the Bible is true?; Why can’t we just agree that love is love?; and Isn’t Christianity against diversity? can seem like roadblocks for kids who are following Jesus, as well as for those who might otherwise consider faith in Christ.

Story
Modern culture is increasingly outspoken against a biblical understanding of what it means to be a woman. Even some Christians, swayed by the LGBTQ+ movement, have rejected God’s word on issues of sexuality and gender in favor of popular opinion. In light of these pressures, it’s more important than ever to help women see the truth about who God created them to be. In this powerful book, Rosaria Butterfield uses Scripture to confront 5 common lies about sexuality, faith, feminism, gender roles, and modesty often promoted in our secular culture today.

Story
Many people assume that the story of the baby in the manger at Bethlehem is just another made-up fantasy for kids. In this concise book, respected apologist Rebecca McLaughlin outlines the evidence that Jesus was a real person, explaining the reliability of the Bible’s accounts of his life and why believing in a virgin birth is not as ridiculous as it might sound. This book shows that there is a rational basis for the belief that the world’s most famous story is a fact, not fantasy - and how those events in history can infuse our lives today with meaning and joy.

If God is holy, then he can’t sin. If God can’t sin, then he can’t sin against you. If he can’t sin against you, shouldn’t that make him the most trustworthy being there is? Best-selling author Jackie Hill Perry, in her much anticipated follow-up to Gay Girl, Good God, helps us find the reason we don’t trust God - we misunderstand his holiness. In Holier Than Thou, Jackie walks us through Scripture, shaking the dust off of “holy” as we’ve come to know it and revealing it for what it really is: good news.

Story
Today in the West, many consider the church to be dead or dying. Christianity is seen as outdated, bigoted, and responsible for many of society’s problems. This leaves many believers embarrassed about their faith and many outsiders wary of religion. But what if the Christian message is not the enemy of our modern Western values, but the very thing that makes sense of them? In this fascinating book, Glen Scrivener takes listeners on a journey to discover how the teachings of Jesus not only turned the ancient world upside down, but continue to underpin the way we think.

Story
Theology can be intimidating. But it doesn’t have to be. Whether conversations about theology have felt out of reach, over your head, or irrelevant, consider this book an invitation to the dialogue. The goal of theology is knowing and loving God well. This is a lifelong endeavor, a never-ending pursuit, not for the sake of knowledge, but for an ever-deepening relationship with God Himself.

Story
Women were there. For centuries, discussions of early Christianity have focused on male leaders in the church. But there is ample evidence right in the New Testament that women were actively involved in ministry, at the frontier of the gospel mission, and as respected leaders. Nijay Gupta calls us to bring these women out of the shadows by shining light on their many inspiring contributions to the planting, growth, and health of the first Christian churches.

A love I didn’t even know was already there
Highly Recommend Book! I just finished listening to on Amazon Audible, and to share this beautiful message of Jesus’ love with a handful of my friends.
It’s more than just being so good, it’s actually hearing Jesus say, “I choose you” and “I love you” directly to your heart through the words of these women mentioned in the Bible.
Definitely a Must Read!
PS: The trailer that was made for this book was genius. It was because of that trailer I read this book. I also shared the trailer with my friends along with my book recommendation, and was also told it was because of that book trailer they were interested in reading this book with their circle of friends and family. Great job on the marketing of this wonderful book. I’m already looking for more of her books.

Jesus a through the Eyes of Womem
Thank you. Setting the women of the Bible as a story was heart warming. The story, in no way, interferes with the gospel but adds a depth for me that I couldn’t see clearly. My heart is grateful for this added blessing. Thank you.

A truly biblical perspective
This book was absolutely fantastic and wholly biblical. I loved hearing all the many women accounted for in the Bible and how Jesus treated them. It grew my love for him even more. Without women there would be much of the Bible missing, since many accounts of Jesus come from their experiences with him.
I grew up as conservative Christian (still am one) where I didn’t realize I was being fed a subliminal lie that women were somehow lesser in value and importance. Every biblical account of Jesus with women disproves that and shows how valued we truly are. Jesus has always treated women as equal in value.

Accurate and Inspiring
This book will be appreciated by those who perhaps have doubts about the place of women in the heart of Jesus. Rebecca quotes the exact words of Scripture as she drives home her points. Thanks to Rebecca’s wonderful English accent and her narrating style, it is fascinating to listen to—no mind wandering with this book.

To know Jesus at all, is to see Him as He was seen…
…seen by those who walked with Him, to include His women disciples. For He intentionally called, reached out to, ministered to, healed, provided for, redeemed and elevated women across social and ethnic barriers. If you think “anti-women,“ or “misogynistic” when you hear “Christian” - please give Rebecca’s book a close listen. She will keep your heart and mind engaged throughout,
