Great Guide to Feel less Stress
I’ve been told I’m a perfectionist, but I didn’t fully understand what that meant at the time. As I’ve become more self-aware, I can now see how perfectionism has affected different areas of my life. This book helped me better understand those patterns and showed me how to shift my mindset so I can feel more at ease and adjust my expectations. It also covers ways to manage stress, practice self-compassion, and create healthier relationships by not holding everything, and everyone—to impossible standards. Which I have been living in circles of stress, and that hasn't been happy. I never realized how much perfectionism was shaping my self-image, but now it’s clear. Truly a helpful and insightful read.

Thoughtful, practical and focused on progress
Perfectionism can sneak into everything- work, parenting, even how we manage our time. So, I liked that this audiobook tackles it from all angles. The parts about how perfectionism affects our kids and relationships really stuck with me, especially the reminder to ease up on unrealistic expectations. I also appreciated the mindset shift from chasing perfection to focusing on progress and it felt doable, not just motivational fluff. A few of the exercises were pretty surface-level, but the real-life examples helped bring the ideas home. The narrator had a warm, thoughtful tone that matched the reflective nature of the content. Definitely a helpful listen if you're trying to be kinder to yourself and those around you.

When you think it's not good enough
This book hit way too close to home. The chapter on perfectionism in relationships?? Ouch, but needed. It helped me see how much pressure I put on myself and everyone around me. The mindset shifts section was big for me — realizing I didn’t have to get it all right to still be growing. If your brain won’t chill unless everything is perfect 24/7, this seriously helps. Felt like therapy but way cheaper.
