Story
The world’s greatest bodybuilder. The world’s highest-paid movie star. The leader of the world’s sixth-largest economy. That these are the same person sounds like the setup to a joke, but this is no joke. This is Arnold Schwarzenegger. And this did not happen by accident. Arnold’s stratospheric success happened as part of a process. As the result of clear vision, big thinking, hard work, direct communication, resilient problem-solving, open-minded curiosity, and a commitment to giving back. All of it guided by the one lesson Arnold’s father hammered into him above all: be useful.

Story
There's no shortage of networking and entrepreneurship advice in books and on social media in today's world-but it's harder than ever to know what's authentic. To make matters worse, taking the wrong advice can result in superficial connections, transactional relationships, and unsatisfying interactions with others without any real rapport. Fortunately, as entrepreneur and marketer extraordinaire Joe Polish has discovered, there's a simple (though sometimes not easy) way out that begins with one question: "What's in it for them?"

Some people are born with a drive often seen in entrepreneurs, pro-athletes, inventors, adventurers, and Navy SEALs. It's in their DNA - research has shown that certain genes can manifest resilient and highly focused people who can also be impulsive and easily distracted. While these traits enabled our ancient ancestors to survive, if you have these traits today, it can create havoc in your life. You may be diagnosed with ADHD, ADD, or OCD. But what the world tells you is a disability or disorder may actually be your greatest gift. Now it's time to learn how to use it.

Story
Every day we experience the uncertainty, risks, and emotional exposure that define what it means to be vulnerable or to dare greatly. Based on 12 years of pioneering research, Dr. Brené Brown dispels the cultural myth that vulnerability is weakness and argues that it is, in truth, our most accurate measure of courage. Brown explains how vulnerability is both the core of difficult emotions like fear, grief, and disappointment, and the birthplace of love, belonging, joy, empathy, innovation, and creativity.

Social scientist Brené Brown has ignited a global conversation on courage, vulnerability, shame, and worthiness. But living a brave life is not always easy: We are, inevitably, going to stumble and fall.

Life changed forever
It's been a while since I finished reading and taking notes on Fearvana. I have already recommended this book to many friends, because it changed my perspective on life's stressors and challenges, and changed my whole perspective on life.
Fearvana helped me realize that I have a lot of negative thoughts about myself that I was completely blind to. This book is the tool to recognize fears and realize how sometimes the things we fear are the exact things that will be the most rewarding, making us the happiest most fulfilled versions of ourselves. I have changed my attitude dramatically towards "boring" tasks such as studying, training, and job applications, because Akshay’s book taught me to fall in love with the struggle and to love the process, because it gives us strength and makes us better. Fearvana taught me that everything that I want and everything in my life that is important requires hard work and struggle, and requires facing fears and being uncomfortable.
Fearvana taught me that a lot of my emotional responses were the “second dart syndrome” of judging myself. Learning Akshay’s "second-dart" definition has given me more control and made me a lot more confident. I can now view my stress and anxiety from a new perspective because of this book! I view my stress response as a sign that I'm passionate about changing and accepting myself, and I’m improving my self-talk and mental strength every day.
Fearvana inspired me to go out of my comfort zone and seek out those fearful experiences that strengthen us. I’m more comfortable with them and I know I can use this new strength to my advantage in all areas of life.
This book will no doubt inspire you to realize how much of your life is controlled by fear and hopefully, like me, inspire you to start living the life you want!
Thanks Akshay!

Must Read Book For Men! Don't Be Scared.
Learn how to turn FEAR into Power!!! Favorite book of 2022!!!
I had thought I handled my fears and controlled my mind. Then my life changed, and some old experiences and feelings started coming back into my mind. I push these thoughts out for a while, but they always find their way around. Then these feelings became more intense. After some soul searching, I realized the feelings I was experiencing and naming anxiety, pressure, and overwhelm, were my fears. These FEARS showed up by different names, but at the root of them, all was FEAR. I was fortunate to be in a small setting where Akshay spoke, and I instantly understood his message. I purchased FEARVANA and read it in less than a day. I'm now on my second reading, where I'm going through his process and implementing the strategies he shares throughout each chapter.
If you're a man hiding behind FEAR, do yourself a favor and read this book. Do the work, and punch FEAR in the face once and for all. Fear isn't your enemy. Learn to use your fears to reach your true potential in life.
BOOM!!!
